As construction continues on the new $150M Allure luxury high-rise condos, the low-income neighborhood that lies in the shadows of the Stratosphere has become a focal point for investors looking for prime locations for redevelopment. More and more renters in this neighborhood are being handed eviction notices after the city has condemned their properties. The question becomes are these properties being condemned for redevelopment purposes or because the living conditions have truly become completely unbearable?
