Here is very quick and approximate cheat sheet for estimating how much can you build on vacant land with commercial zoning in Las Vegas. Please always check exact zoning, parking situation, etc. For quick estimates use the following:

- If you are building one story building (office, retail) you will be able to get approx 25% coverage. For example 1 acre (43,560 sq. feet) will let you build approx. 10,890 sq. feet building.

- If you are going to build two story building you might get more. My guess is approx. 35% coverage. 1 acre land will get you 15,246 sq. feet building.
