Developers Flock to Downtown LV

Currently, 25 companies have expressed interest in building downtown on Las Vegas’ 61 acres. Consultant Dan Van Epp believes there is a good chance that five or six projects could begin simultaneously. Interested parties have submitted various project proposals ranging from retail, to residential, to office.
Other projects planned for the 61 acres include the Lou Ruvo Alzheimer’s Institute, which could anchor an academic medical center; the Fred W. and Mary B. Smith Center for the Performing Arts; and possibly a new City Hall and baseball stadium.
