LV has been billed as the next sexy center of condo living. A 21-st century Manhattan or Miami. However, the increasing costs associated with building materials, a shortage of skilled labor, and strong competition from deep-pocketed casinos are halting many developers in their tracks.
Material prices in general are causing many to either place their projects on hold or abandon them completely. Some experts state that they have not seen material costs rise this rapidly since the 1970’s.
