The site for the now defunct $3 billion hotel, condominium and casino complex backed by George Clooney has sold to the Edge Group. They paid $202 million for the 25-acre site. This is more than twice what the Edge Group paid a year ago for another plot just off the Las Vegas Strip. Edge Group said it plans to develop an upscale, boutique hotel-casino complex, noting it will now control 50 acres in the immediate area. |
