New Mid-Rise Community Planned for Lake LV
A new, $220 million, 324-unit mid-rise community called Galileo is planned for Lake Las Vegas. Galileo will consist of nine mid-rise buildings, from two-, three- and four-stories tall, with parking below. Residences will range from 1,300 to 2,500 square feet. Construction is planned for early 2007 with a planned three phase, four-year build out.
The first phase will consist of 102 units and include a two-acre lagoon with cascading waterfalls. There also will be a central pedestrian plaza and a bell tower. The community will be located next to the Hyatt Regency, with a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course on one side and a planned Tom Fazio course on the other. Residents could begin moving in by late 2007.
