Las Vegas: Targeted Industrial Hub?

A recent article in Investor’s Business Daily suggests that developers and logistics firms are targeting cities such as Las Vegas, Indianapolis and Greenville, S.C. as the next areas for major industrial development.
According to the real estate firm Grubb & Ellis, in the first three months of 2006, industrial space under construction rose for a ninth straight quarter and neared 110 million square feet. That’s just 10% off the record development seen in the fourth quarter of 2000.
