Over the past few years, the commercial real estate market has remained strong. This was due in large part to banks, insurance companies and institutional investors funneling money into the market because its returns, low interest rates, and earnings exceeded alternative asset classes.
Experts are predicting that the market will remain strong, but not as strong as it has been in the past. However, performance in the multi-family sector is expected to increase as a result of U.S. demographic trends and steady job growth.
