Commercial Condos Coming to Vegas
California-based Venture Corp. is banking on the popularity of the commercial condo and the success they’ve experienced in California to set the stage for its entrance into the Las Vegas market. President Robert Eves believes that there is a strong market of small business owners who would rather own then rent office space, if provided with the right opportunity. He acknowledges that the market may be softer now, but believes there is very little product out there for entrepreneurs who want to own their own space. His projects address that demand.
Eves started out with just 20 connected offices at about 2,500 square feet each in Morgan Hill Ranch, California. Today, he has developed more than 1,000 privately owned business properties, and more than 2.5 million square feet in San Jose, Hercules, Fairfield, Sacramento and San Diego. He plans to expand to Oregon, Washington, Texas, New Mexico and Las Vegas using a high-rise condo tower approach in the near future.
