Del American has decided to torpedo its Vegas 888 high rise project due to rising construction costs and lack of sales. The 10-acre, $50 million lot located in Flamingo Road at Valley View Boulevard is now touting a “for sale” sign.
Del American does not appear to be having much luck lately with its endeavors. The first one called Vegas Grand is working it ways through the court. Rising construction costs and delays drove the costs of the units up and forced many to cancel their reservations. Now, Vegas 888 has been laid to rest. Currently, they have chosen to concentrate their efforts on their remaining project, Vegas Grand, where construction is already under way.
