New Water Parks Project in the Works

KVBC.com is reporting that there is a new water works project in the works. The project called Las Vegas Wet will be built on more than 100 acres near Las Vegas Boulevard and the 215. The $1 billion water park will cover roughly 30 acres with themes like Vintage Vegas, Glacier Bay, and Survivor Island. Part of the water park will even be indoors. The park also intends to include a snow dome for indoor skiing, two hotels, a casino, an events arena, dinning and shopping. Developers hope to break ground in early 2007 with a opening date in the summer of 2009.
